This Bristol Primary school, located in Hanham, is currently looking for a Year 4 Teacher to start on a part-time basis to cover the Easter break. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members that provide a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage.

This school is seeking applications from both experienced and newly qualified candidates with experience in a Year 4 classroom who can showcase their skill and subject knowledge within such a year group.

As this will be a part-time role, working two days a week, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to the class as well as marking work. It is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TAs to ensure pupils are progressing, and that work is in line with pupil ability. The school will be looking for somebody who is adaptable and interested in teaching a class of different abilities. You should make lessons engaging and ensure you carry out assessments to report back to parents. The school would like someone with previous KS2 experience. However, ECTs are welcome to apply for this role.

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children. Subject leadership is desired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are also welcome to apply.

In return, you will get paid to scale from day one and will be joining a successful team where you will be provided with ongoing training and development. You will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receive Β£250 in high street vouchers.
