Salary: Β£24.30 - Β£27.33 per hour, depending on grade. Subject to increase for 24/25 pay year.

Grade TUTLEC 1 - 4 depending on qualifications and experience.

Casual Contract - Hours per Week are variable (as & when required) and subject to demand.

Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority's provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough.

You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons, and marking learners' work and giving developmental feedback. Experience of teaching adults is required. Experience of teaching individuals with learning difficulties is essential.

You will have level 2 qualifications in English and maths, a level 3 award in Education and Training and ideally a level 5 teaching qualification for teaching in the post-16 sector. We will consider applications from individuals with no formal teaching qualifications, depending on experience, but you will need to achieve the level 3 award within the first year of teaching and the level 5 diploma within the second year.

An Enhanced DBS check with children's barred list is required.
