This role is site based and will require you be UK Security Cleared or be eligible.Duties and Responsibilities:NOC 3rd line engineering support, including but not limited to the following activities:Provide network related support to DXC deployed test and verification lab environments located in Erskine includingNetworks implementation, test and verification of Node buildsProviding networking configurationsStaging of equipmentPhysical patchingCarry out testing for BAU driven changes and provide associated test reportsNetwork configuration and design collateral managementUpdate and appropriately record documentation in the DXC / DXC Customer provided systemsAdhere to Project Enhancement Release (PER) processes as neededValidate the configurations applied by 3rd parties to Nodes [GP1] against the approved configurationValidate the configurations applied by 3rd parties to Nodes [GP2] against as part of the Node acceptance processEscalation for incidents reported via the service management tools (SM9) for the in-scope devices as requested by NOC Level 2Provide ad hoc, reactive support for high priority and short notice requests related to in scope devicesAttend Meetings as required by the businessRecruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services, such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company.
