Rikama Education are working with a small primary school in Dover, who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start in Term 2. This is a full-time position which runs until the end of the academic year, with a view of going permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- To provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 2 with ASD, SpLgD
- To differentiate the curriculum
- To manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
- Use visual aids to aid communication
It is essential that you have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
