Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Care Assistant. Based in Stockport Area the role involves a combination of in-person care visits and flexible home-based work. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, supporting individuals with dementia, providing companionship, aiding in mobility and transfers, and ensuring the overall well-being of clients. The role also involves clear communication with clients and their families to assess and adapt care plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Competence in Manual Handling to assist clients with mobility and physical assistance needs
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and engage effectively with clients and their families
- Experience and knowledge in Dementia Care
- Hands-on Caregiving skills with a caring and compassionate approach
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to manage diverse client needs
- Relevant training or certification in caregiving or health care is beneficial
- Ability to work both in clients\β homes and remotely, with a valid driver\βs license if required for travel
