We have an incredible opportunity on our Survival Team, to be part of something extraordinary with our new project, a sequel to Alien: As Senior VFX Artist, you will work with our art and tech teams to craft immersive and stunning visual effects.
This role will be based at one of our studios in Horsham, West Sussex or Sofia, Bulgaria and can be offered as hybrid / in-studio / fully remote within country of employment.
As a Senior VFX artist on the team, you will be creating high quality, performant visuals in line with art direction for the project:
- Create high quality realistic vfx that will immerse the player and satisfy gameplay requirements.
- Produce high quality and performant visuals, as an integral part of the team.
- Ability to create and implement world class VFX in realistic style.
- Excellent visual awareness and artistic ability.
- Experience of working in a professional creative environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of UE5 and Niagara Particle system terminology and applications.
- VFX optimisation and performance constraints.
- Strong awareness of industry technology trends.
- Communicate well, with all disciplines, and be well organised.
- Knowledge of Embergen.
- Knowledge of Houdini and its use in real-time game VFX.
