Description Creative Assembly is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Community Manager who has a genuine passion for building relationships with players and creating environments for them to connect. This is an opportunity to join our Survival team based at our studio in Horsham, in the heart of West Sussex to work on our new project in development, a sequel to Alien: Isolation. In this new role, the successful candidate will be the voice of the players and work closely with development, brand and publishing disciplines to help build future campaigns and communication strategies. This is a senior level position with opportunity for growth and progression. Flexible working at Creative Assembly includes hybrid, fully remote within country of employment for eligible roles, and in-studio. We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and empower our teams to define the working patterns which work best for them, which may mean different things for different teams and roles and at different times. Key Responsibilities In this key role within the Survival Team, you will collaborate across development, brand and publishing to help build out campaign strategies, programs and oversee online spaces for players to gather. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and publishing to design and implement a comprehensive community strategy for both pre-launch and post-launch phases while ensuring that it is aligned with overarching brand objectives and product goals to ensure consistency and impact. Craft strategic and tactical plans tailored to specific channels, driving engagement and growth across social networks, forums and other channels as needed. Establish feedback loop to ensure stakeholders across publishing and development discipline teams remain informed about key community trends, topics, and needs. Design and execute innovative community programs to grow and provide value to the player base as well as sustain excitement and engagement Foster direct, meaningful relationships with players to build trust and loyalty. Partner with the brand team to create a channel content strategy that supports key campaign milestones and supplementary communications. Identify potential risks and opportunities within the community, working closely with internal stakeholders to relay, monitor, and resolve feedback. Analyze engagement metrics to uncover trends, create campaigns for welcoming new fans, and prepare reports that translate social data into actionable strategies while collecting feedback from multiple channels. Coordinate with external agencies to develop and execute communication plans, ensuring alignment with community and brand strategies. Knowledge, Skill and Experience Essential Proven experience and ability in creating and establishing communities in the games, entertainment or technology space Exhibits a strong sense of empathy, understanding the needs and perspectives of diverse player communities. Curious nature to explore and experiment with new ways to engage with and surprise and delight players. Strong organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects at once. Demonstrated understanding of community platforms e.g. Discord, Reddit and others A proactive approach and motivated self-starter with a sharp attention to detail. Ability to exercise sound judgement and critical thinking when confronted with challenges Excellent communicator with ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across teams, in meetings and in written communication across different channels and in project documentation Strong ability to build and maintain relationships within and outside of the organization Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel), social and sentiment monitoring tools Fundamental understanding of brand and marketing disciplines Desirable Interest in the video games industry and marketing Interest in horror media About Creative Assembly Creative Assembly crafts deep and detailed games that last, entertaining millions of players across the globe for decades.
