This media-planning co-ordination position is for a true team player as at its heart is collaboration. This role offers the selected candidate an opportunity to grow their knowledge of media landscapes across EMEA and evolve their expertise in media planning and strategic consultancy by working with local-market specialists daily to create integrated, future facing cross-channel media plans for our clients. The right candidate will have ownership of projects, ensuring efficiency is delivered in the end-to-end campaign process and the capacity to be involved in proactive asks and forward thinking.
The ideal candidate will have worked in paid media planning and campaign execution. They will have a good grasp of both online and offline media, audience targeting, and campaign measurement. The individual should be a good communicator with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Essential Criteria
- Experience in paid media planning across all channels
- Good understanding of media principles, campaign measurement and KPIs
- Experience using tools for planning and measurement across markets for effective planning
- Used to working end to end campaign processes from brief to reporting
- Ability to communicate and present succinctly in all directions with an open and consultative approach with both colleagues and clients
- Organised to support across multiple projects and workstreams so that deadlines and quality standards are met
- Solutions focused with a mindset towards process optimisation
- Strong background in competitor and market analysis, providing actionable insights for media planning

Responsibilities
- Support the team to coordinate annual and campaign level paid media planning process across EMEA
- Coordinate/manage local market and regional briefing process
- Engage with local market planning experts to brief and support cross channel campaign planning, providing a view on recommended investment levels, channel mix and campaign timing etc.
- Ensure cross channel plans have a clear, consistent rationale and are aligned to global strategy
- Identify and act on cross market learnings and efficiencies to be made
- Build a good knowledgebase and understanding of the client's business and marketplace
- Build strong relationships with local and internal Mindshare teams to ensure markets are delivering key actions across the account
- Work with local markets to deliver best in class planning and reporting practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy of reporting documents & data requests
- Working closely with external agencies to deliver executional excellence where required
- Keep updated on EMEA media channel developments and lead in the collation of competitor, market, and media activity that might identify new channels and test opportunities for upcoming campaigns
- Develop planning knowledge and expertise of Planning Executive
- Share examples of great campaign activation from competitive and power brands across EMEA
