Overview Maintenance Engineer – Electrical at The Wellington Hospital, London. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Shifts: Monday-Sunday, Day shift 08:00-16:30; Late shift 11:00-19:30; on-call 1 in 8 weeks and 1 in 4 late shifts. Permanent. Competitive salary + excellent benefits.
We are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our Estates team based at The Wellington Hospital. This role is vital in providing a high standard of workmanship maintaining the existing structure and fabric of the building on a daily basis.

What You\’ll Do
Provide a high standard of workmanship maintaining the existing electrical structure and fabric of the building on a daily basis.
Work to a planned preventative maintenance system in accordance with a programme directed by the Estates Manager / Chief Engineer.
Provide an emergency call-out service outside normal working hours as part of the estates department shift rota.
Be responsible for all tools, equipment and uniform provided by the company.
Undertake other duties as may be directed by the Estates Manager / Chief Engineer.
What You\’ll Bring
Training in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Electrical or equivalent.
A good understanding of electrical systems.
Relevant Qualifications (C&G or Equivalent to level 2 or level 3).
Previous experience of working in the electrical maintenance industry, ideally within a hospital.
