Hours: Full-time role working 37.5hrs per week (Mon-Fri 8-4 or 9-5 shifts)

We are looking for a Sister /Charge Nurse to join our Outpatient department on a Fixed Term Contract until 30th June 2027 at the Platinum Medical Centre, part of The Wellington Hospital.
As Sister for our Outpatient Department, you will provide effective leadership, expertise, advice and support to the team, carrying continuous responsibility for the management of the unit, making effective use of resources and ensuring the highest standards of care to patients and families.
What You’ll Do
- Leading the Clinical Management of Outpatient Services and all service lines therein, to include support and mentorship of junior staff, acting as a clinical expert and role model
- Leading the Operational Management of Outpatient Services to include organisation of clinics, staff deployment, recruitment and the promotion of team and multidisciplinary working
- Effectively managing resources in all forms: staffing establishments, manpower planning and deployment of department management budgets
- Keeping up with current developments and trends in clinical practice to include identifying own and team learning and education needs, maintaining the competencies requirements, portraying a positive image and supporting the ward/department team
- Ensuring the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence
