About the Role

Do you have a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning? Would you like to use your knowledge within an important technical advice project here at SJP? Within this 6‑month fixed‑term contract opportunity, you'll work as part of a small, dedicated project team responsible for the audit of around 5000 pieces of technical financial advice content across our platforms including House, Techlink, and SharePoint, providing expert oversight in reviewing and updating all collateral to ensure it is accurate, compliant, high‑value, and aligned with organisational priorities. You will play a key part in reviewing and redesigning all technical content owned by the Advice Division. Your work will ensure our collateral is fit for purpose, delivering accurate high‑value content in an intuitive and accessible format. This is a unique opportunity to use your strong technical financial advice knowledge, organisational skills and stakeholder management ability to shape a seamless Partner experience, elevate content standards, and contribute to a project that drives efficiency, clarity, and excellence across our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of all content within the project scope—including documents, web pages, podcasts, and videos—across platforms such as House, Techlink, and SharePoint, ensuring technical accuracy, brand alignment, and policy/regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and eliminate duplicate content, consolidating information into a single source.
  • Evaluate the relevance and value of existing content, recommending enhancements that improve collateral quality and deliver superior customer experiences and outcomes.
  • Manage content updates and documentation changes, collaborating with artworkers, external printers, and Financial Promotions to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support the creation of new content, applying technical SME knowledge to highlight areas for improvement and ensure alignment with project guidelines from inception to completion.
  • Ensure all content reflects SJP's brand voice, tone, and audience expectations, elevating Partner engagement and experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of reviews, actions taken, and updates to guidelines and SOPs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to drive project success.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified to minimum Level 4 QCF (e.g., CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge on one or more of the following: Tax, Trusts, Pensions, Protection and Investments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and deliver to our target audience.
  • Ability to write technical content in a way average consumers can understand – storytelling skills.
  • A strong understanding of core SJP products.
  • Ability to liaise and manage all levels of colleagues across the business in order to achieve project milestones and target dates.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills.
  • Effective relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK advice industry and experience in Financial Services.
