Acute Medical Staff Nurse
London: The Princess Grace Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Sunday (flexibility to work long days, nights & weekends)

Salary: competitive plus 9% shift allowance
We\’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Acute Medical Team at the Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated \”Good\” by the CQC. Our Acute Medicine pathway provides a 24/7 service, providing care in our Acute Admission Unit, Acute Care Unit, or via our Urgent Care Centre, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment – whenever they need it.
This position is based in our 19 bedded ward caring for acute medical patients with a posture of breast surgery patients and daycase procedures ie. Iron infusions, interventional Radiology procedures (biopsies etc).
As an Acute Medical Nurse, you\’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality care to our acutely unwell patients, with a range of complex care needs. You will have the opportunity to work with our dedicated team of medical consultants from a wide range of medical specialties.
Day‑to‑day, you will use your knowledge and expertise to manage acutely unwell patients and work with our multi-disciplinary team to support our 1‑hour pathway for patient assessment and deliver high-quality care to our general medical and surgical patients requiring medical input or optimisation.

Our dedicated and highly trained team is committed to delivering an exemplary standard of clinical care across all specialties.
The Princess Grace Hospital has 127 registered beds, including 90 inpatient, 21 day case, 8 endoscopy, an urgent care unit and a Level 3 intensive care unit containing 9 beds, with 24‑hour consultant cover and a high dependency unit.
The hospital also has several specialised centres, including The London Breast Institute, recognised as one of the best private breast screening and diagnostic treatment centres in the UK; the London Digestive Centre, a highly specialised outpatient facility offering diagnoses and treatments for all conditions of the stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and bile ducts; and The Institute of Sport Exercise and Health, a state‑of‑the‑art facility dedicated to sport and exercise medicine.
