Right now, we’re taking on Qualified Mortgage & Protection Advisers to join our expanding New Build division. With a start date of the 16th March 2026, this is a fabulous opportunity for a seasoned Mortgage & Protection Adviser to thrive and jump in with a head-first and hands-on approach, with constant bountiful leads to grab, providing quality, tailored advice to our Partnered clients. The Role
As a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in the New Build team, your main purpose will be to provide a high-quality advised service for Builder Relationship leads to achieve agreed performance targets and ultimately meet the mortgage needs of our clients, helping their property dreams come true. You’ll issue prompt feedback to builders on the initial qualification status of clients to allow them reservation of a property and continuous ongoing updates on cases; from the application being submitted, to receiving the offer and eventual completion.
You will also support clients further by providing comprehensive Protection Advice alongside their mortgage requirements, lending your empathetic ear to conversation in pursual of a policy that best suits their circumstances and family needs. Additionally, you will occasionally take to the road, attending site visits and trade shows with sufficient notice to help build and nurture relationships with site and industry staff; as well as working every other weekend day on a rota’d basis to ensure best coverage for client and builder availability.
About You
We’re looking for seasoned Mortgage & Protection Advisers who are eager for a new challenge. You may have some experience already with selling New Build products, but don’t worry if not, as we will coach you through everything you need to know to help you flourish. You will need however a great track record of success, able to provide consistently high quality and compliant advice, and able to adhere to at times strict deadlines and organise your time effectively.
Your written and verbal communication skills will be of top calibre, to ensure partnered builders are kept up to date regularly with progress in a timely fashion, and your customers at ease and confidence with the often-daunting house buying process. Self-sufficient and motivated, you should be able to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, builders and other parties alike, which will be paramount in the development and strengthening of our partnerships.
Additionally, you’ll have a strong ability to provide appropriate protection advice, exercising such customer care and consideration, ensuring the business sold remains consistent in accordance with the company’s agreed performance standard, but with the best interests of the customer at the forefront. You’ll need to have an air of confidence in your advice and empathy for your clients, to help build a connection and help protect what’s most important to them.

FCA Certification Regime & Conduct Rules
L&C is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and is classified as an "Enhanced Firm" under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role will fall into the "Certification and Conduct" elements of the regime. L&C will be required to attest to your integrity, competence and financial soundness on an initial and regular basis if you’re successful in your application and as a "Certification Regime" employee, your personal and professional details will be published in the FCA’s Directory which is accessible to the public. This can provide comfort to customers that they are dealing with a legitimate and monitored Adviser that belongs to a firm with a solid culture and ethics.
You will also be personally subject to the 6 FCA Conduct Rules. You may already be aware of these but don’t worry if not. If successful in securing an interview and role, a detailed explanation and training will be provided.
