Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to overall payments solution architecture and design, working closely with the product owner and enterprise architect.
- Participate in the design and planning of enhancements to existing payment applications and development of new applications.
- Hands on development, plus contributing to the overall software life cycle including participating in code reviews, setting coding standards and introducing new technologies to the team.
- Work with Quality Assurance and developers to ensure software builds meet system, functional and performance requirements.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as in an Agile development environment.
Skills Required:
- Hands on knowledge and experience in core payments processing domain, for retail and corporate banking customers.
- Exposure to payments processing and clearing systems from multiple geographies is highly desirable; Exposure to correspondent banking payments (SWIFT) and payments in the APAC region preferable.
- Hands on expertise in at least one leading payment processing product such as Fundtech GPP, FIS Clear2Pay, Fiserv Dovetail, Volante VolPay etc. is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in agile ways of working.
- Experience in defining the business problem and architecting technical solution in line with appropriate best practice, governance standards and methodologies.
- Strong demonstrable experience in architecting Java/J2EE based enterprise applications from concept to production.
