The Central Strategy team sits at the heart of this exciting business. We are responsible for setting the long‐term direction, uncovering opportunities for value creation, and advising on M&A and business development deals.
We are looking for a passionate strategy professional who can deliver complex projects, answer tricky strategic questions, influence exec‐level stakeholders, and have fun while doing it.

The must haves
Corporate Strategy experience in a top tier TMT business and/or strategy consulting firm
Understanding of the telecoms market, digital services, and the potential opportunities and threats for the industry
Track record of developing viable solutions to highly complex business challenges
Effective & credible communicator, with influence at all levels of business, able to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
Excellent team‐working and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships across the team and wider business
Self‐starting and motivated individual, resourceful and solution‐driven, able to manage and successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel
Strong awareness and understanding of commercial drivers of performance
Experience of developing and modelling complex business cases
The other stuff we are looking for
Lead complex, cross business strategy projects
Be a trusted advisor to key senior executives, including board members, on complex and critical issues
Identify different ways for Virgin Media O2 to achieve its strategic goals through alliances, partnerships, M&A, etc.
End‐to‐end ownership of Board‐level ready written documents and proposals
Provide coaching and guidance to other team members on specific skills, through formal project work delegation and informal mentoring
