Salary: Up to £44,750 Dependent on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing test procedures using technical information from suppliers and design authority
- Understanding and interpreting the customer needs for integration activities and affect these once agreed as deliverables
- Undertaking integration testing in line with approved test procedures
- Investigating complex technical faults and queries of the (to be) integrated systems based on a considerable understanding of the underlying technical design
- Compiling and communicating test/fault/investigation evidence and reports in verbal, informal and formal written mediums
- Understanding the need for and support where required integration activities on supplier and customer sites
- Supporting the documentation of domain knowledge and be able to pass on information and experience in order to help grow the knowledge base within appropriate business teams
Essential
- Your skills and experiences:
- HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to provide technical knowledge & instruction to emergent incidents
- Proven documentation writing skills using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and understanding of Electrical Testing and / or Software Testing
Desirable
- Detailed knowledge of safety controls & procedures in an operational environment
- Experience of Test and Acceptance within a high assurance engineering environment

The Test & Integration Team
You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, writing test procedures and following test procedures for the Platform management system on Dreadnought. The team you will be joining plays a critical role in testing software and hardware of vital management systems, writing test procedures and delivering measures to significant stages of the submarine build. You will have an opportunity to work on complex engineering and testing projects, joining a team that will likely be growing rapidly, allowing for development opportunities.
We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
