As part of Entain’s commitment to player protection and regulatory excellence, the Safer Gambling Finance Analyst will support the development and delivery of insightful reporting and analysis within the Retail division. This role plays a key part in ensuring that data-driven insights help identify and mitigate risks related to customer safety and compliance.
Working closely with the Finance, Data & Analytics, and Safer Gambling teams, the analyst will contribute to the evolution of reporting tools and dashboards, helping to ensure that the business remains proactive in its approach to Safer Gambling.
Compliance business partnering

  • Working with compliance teams to understand proposed changes and building out robust forecasts for the impact
  • Providing analytics support to review the effectiveness of any changes to our policy or approach
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our SG policies and implementation
Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards that support safer gambling initiatives.
  • Support the collation and presentation of data to internal stakeholders.
  • Help ensure reporting aligns with regulatory and internal standards.
Data handling
  • Work with large datasets to extract and prepare data for analysis.
  • Support the integration of new data sources into existing reporting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Stakeholder support
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams to understand reporting needs.
  • Assist in gathering requirements and translating them into reporting outputs.
  • Present findings in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Degree in a STEM or finance-related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance, data, or analytical role.
  • Exposure to reporting or compliance environments is advantageous.
  • Interest in gambling, compliance, or risk management.
Core Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SQL is preferred
