As the Site Process Safety Lead, you will support the Site Process Safety Programme and contribute to improving and developing PSRM practices and systems. You will drive consistent behaviours and systematically control process safety risk and compliance at the site.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for the PGMS Site on Process Safety Plan and strategy and drive PSRM activities.
- Own and manage the local PGMS Process Safety Strategy.
- Support local Project Engineering and Management of Change teams with site‑based PSM guidance and support.
- Manage and be the primary process safety resource for studies in the local site PHR and LOPA plan.
- Support in the delivery of Assurance Activities within the local site.
- Engage regularly with the Business PSM Team and Group PSM Team.
- Develop a local Process Safety Management Meeting with the Site Manager and Site Engineering Manager.
- Support the site in the preparation and delivery of regulator inspections.
Key Skills
- Knowledge/experience in Process Safety Management.
- Previous experience working in a chemical or pharma industry.
- Knowledge/experience in COMAH and experience at an upper‑tier COMAH site.
- Experience managing significant organisational change.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Decision‑making skills relating to Process Safety Assessments and associated escalation.
