About the Role
As the medical device market continues to evolve through rapid technological advancement and changing customer expectations, we are creating this role to expand our team and execute our strategy for ExpertLink Remote Connectivity Solutions in Europe according to customer needs, while driving internal operations and extending digital capabilities. This role will partner with both internal and external stakeholders to position Boston Scientific as a leading player in remote solutions across Europe, aligned with our customer‑centricity strategy and business objectives.
Location & Work Mode
- Location: Hemel Hempstead (Hertfordshire), United Kingdom
- Work Mode: Hybrid, with 2 days per week of remote work (business travel days count as office days)
- Travel: Availability to travel within the assigned region for approximately 30% of the time.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of Remote Solutions across the Northern European Cluster (UK & Ireland, Nordics, France) region, ensuring consistent delivery aligned with customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers as the primary regional contact to coordinate, promote, and deploy remote solutions across the region, supporting regional commercial objectives.
- Provide remote or hands‑on support to ensure smooth setup and execution of remote technologies during customer engagements including live procedures and medical education activities.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting and use‑case inquiries.
- Partner with hospital IT, biomedical engineering, and clinical teams to facilitate the effective use of remote technologies during customer interactions.
- Participate in internal and customer events to promote remote solutions, provide regular training and onboarding to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the adoption of remote technologies by following internal processes and supporting operational excellence and efficiency.
- Track and report Remote Solutions activity and KPIs, and capture customer feedback to support continuous improvement and business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields.
- 1‑2 years of experience in telehealth, medical devices, healthcare IT, or remote connectivity solutions.
- Change‑management mindset with agility, proactivity, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required, additional knowledge of French desirable.
- Competency in MS Office and IT/Telecom technical knowledge is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region for on‑site support, training, and Remote Solutions activities.
