Do you thrive in a relationship building role in a collaborative team? London Business School are looking for a Recruitment and Admissions Manager, MBA to join Degree Education on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to work as part of the MBA Recruitment & Admissions Team selecting the highest quality MBA class from the applicant pool, building relationships with candidates, and persuading the very best to join London Business School. We play a key role in promoting the School at events in the UK and internationally, all this is done in the context of stretching revenue and volume targets.

The MBA Recruitment & Admissions Team is a busy and demanding place to work. The working environment is highly collaborative, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a capacity to work effectively as part of a team, have a sense of urgency and the ability to adapt. Please note, this role will involve occasional evening and weekend working. The ideal start date is August 2025.

Main Responsibilities
  • Read and select MBA applications in line with class targets and School requirements.
  • Relationship management of all applicants from specified region/s including advising and guiding candidates through the admission process, positively influencing their views of our Programme and School.
  • Arranging interviews for MBA applicants with Alumni in own region/s.
  • Act as an ambassador for London Business School and represent London Business School at UK and occasional overseas promotional events (presentations and fairs).
  • Delivering regular small group advice sessions for candidates (drop-in sessions and information sessions), including tours of the School.
  • Assisting in the co-ordination and organization of overseas promotional events, including recruiting Alumni to help with panel sessions and fairs.
Who we are looking for
  • Good organisational skills and time management ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience of managing a large range of different stakeholders preferred.
  • Experience of applying engagement/sales techniques.
  • Exceptional understanding of customer service.
  • International experience or outlook and understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Experience in the Higher Education sector, recruitment industry or professional services preferred.
  • An awareness of the business education market and of the MBA market preferred.

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community. For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week. We operate with 'core hours' - 10:00-15:00 - to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work.
