Role within Mott MacDonald Bentley, a joint venture between JN Bentley and Mott MacDonald. The position combines project management and design engineering responsibilities in water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the project triangle with Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure technical, constructability and commercial aspects are considered.
- Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from initial outline through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design team (civil, electrical, mechanical, process, BIM, and technical specialists) to deliver designs on programme, within budget and quality standards.
- Undertake design work in own discipline and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with client teams, promoting a "one-team" approach.
Qualifications
- Accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
- Incorporated Member of a professional engineering institution.
- Experience in outline and detailed design of water or wastewater projects.
- Knowledge of Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.
