This role is for a detail-oriented Production & Scheduling Coordinator to ensure our manufacturing operations are efficient and meet customer demands. You will be responsible for managing the production lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop master production schedules based on work order specifications, ensuring that all production activities are aligned with worker, machine, and material availability.
- Operational Coordination: Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure all products meet quality standards and are delivered to customers on time.
- Customer & Sales Support: Act as the liaison with Customer Service to prioritise urgent or specific sales orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Cost Analysis & Optimization: Conduct cost analyses to identify the most efficient options for scheduling, inventory, production, and distribution, with a focus on improving overall efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Output Reliability and On-time in-full (OTIF), and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
- Data Management: Work with the Prepress team to ensure all master data—including lead times, colour, and ups information—is accurately maintained and updated.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving process effectiveness and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in scheduling, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical, mathematical, and organisational skills.
- Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of applicable computer systems, including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. The ability to prepare and present complex information clearly is a must.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to define and execute project requirements.
