Summary of Role
Support the Asset Protection team with legal research, innovation, knowledge management and training. The role can be full‑time or part‑time.
Key Tasks
- Develop, maintain and enhance the team’s style bank and guidance notes.
- Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on AI and automation.
- Collaborate with IT, innovation and knowledge teams to embed new tools and ways of working.
- Support fee earners with complex legal research and technical queries.
- Monitor legal developments and deliver technical and market knowledge through training sessions, articles and updates.
- Coordinate training budgets, external courses and speaker arrangements with the Divisional Manager.
- Assist with marketing materials, client communications and tender preparation.
- Organise and deliver the Private Client PEAT2 training and support trainee inductions.
- Oversee onboarding processes for new team members.
- Assist with annual submissions to legal directories.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ years relevant PQE, strong technical expertise in tax and succession planning.
- Experience in a Professional Support Lawyer or knowledge‑focused role is preferred.
- Comfortable with new technology, automation and practical process improvement.
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
- Ability to write style documents in plain English and maintain the style bank.
