Summary of Role

Support the Asset Protection team with legal research, innovation, knowledge management and training. The role can be full‑time or part‑time.

Key Tasks

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the team’s style bank and guidance notes.
  • Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on AI and automation.
  • Collaborate with IT, innovation and knowledge teams to embed new tools and ways of working.
  • Support fee earners with complex legal research and technical queries.
  • Monitor legal developments and deliver technical and market knowledge through training sessions, articles and updates.
  • Coordinate training budgets, external courses and speaker arrangements with the Divisional Manager.
  • Assist with marketing materials, client communications and tender preparation.
  • Organise and deliver the Private Client PEAT2 training and support trainee inductions.
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Assist with annual submissions to legal directories.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified lawyer with 5+ years relevant PQE, strong technical expertise in tax and succession planning.
  • Experience in a Professional Support Lawyer or knowledge‑focused role is preferred.
  • Comfortable with new technology, automation and practical process improvement.
  • Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
  • Ability to write style documents in plain English and maintain the style bank.
