Position Overview

Pastry Chef de Partie – all levels Location: London, England, United Kingdom This role is part of The Ned’s pastry kitchen, producing both daily desserts and special event pastries for the hotel’s ten restaurants, bars, and members’ club.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dessert menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Create desserts that meet Ned’s high standards of taste and appearance.
  • Tackle any kitchen issues promptly, prioritising the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with other chefs, runners, and management to deliver a seamless service.
  • Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment to protect guests and teammates.
  • Keep the kitchen tidy, well‑presented, and ready for hand‑over between service times.
  • Support the next team of chefs by prepping for the following service.
  • Adjust to varying shift patterns from early starts (8 am) to midnight closes.

Salary

  • Demi Chef De Partie – £15.35 per hour (including service).
  • Chef De Partie – £17.65 per hour (including service).
