Client facing paralegal role, dealing with new build plot sales and delivering excellent client care, within a busy House Builders team.
Key Tasks
- Conclude Plot Sale Missives – issuing pro forma missives adjusted to suit the particular plot sale deal and considering any adjustments sought by purchasing solicitors, all to point of conclusion.
- Issuing appropriate dispositions, shared equity agreements, and other documents relating to new build plot conveyancing transactions from a range of styles, to include consideration of any issues evident from builder's plot plan.
- Concluding Part Exchange Missives and examination of Part Exchange titles.
- Dealing with observations from purchasers' solicitors in relation to matters particular to a range of individual sites (covering issues like factoring arrangements, road bonding, planning conditions).
- Preparing cash accounts and invoices from set styles.
- Dealing with settlements – meeting the requirements of both the builder client and purchaser's solicitors.
- Carrying out post settlement administration and dealing with general enquiries/issues.
- Interacting with other members of the team to ensure best client service and with clients directly to ensure documents issued align with agreed sale deals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Conveyancing experience essential, ideally builder development related, including drafting, disposition/plan consideration, part exchange and shared equity.
- Must have a thorough understanding of a property transaction and associated legal aspects.
- Paralegal or legal qualification desirable but not essential.
