Overview: This job is with Virgin Media O2, an inclusive employer. Our Field Engineers dazzle customers by installing or fixing products in homes and businesses while offering professional advice. Grow your potential as a Field Technician Apprentice and join us in connecting communities through our technology, earning £26,500 while gaining an industry recognised qualification. A full UK driving licence that allows you to drive one of our vans is required to reach customers across the region, delivering a friendly, knowledgeable service.
Responsibilities (by end of apprenticeship):
- Running and installing cables across different sites
- Adjusting signal levels and connections
- Configuring our advanced equipment
- Working at heights to install and update equipment on poles
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions; comfortable with hands-on work in changing environments

Requirements: Must have a full UK driving licence that entitles you to drive our vans and be comfortable with tasks involving elevated heights. Living close to your designated areas is preferred to minimise travel. Beyond these requirements, apprenticeship opportunities are available to tech-savvy individuals who relish problem solving and embody our brand values.
