The Role
As an Entry Level Operator, you will help drive our goals by:
- Ensure compliance with Production, Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, accurately record process data using percentages/basic maths, promptly report incidents, and minimise waste to control costs.
- Operate, set up, and inspect machinery and components across multiple areas; use measuring equipment, SPC techniques, and quality sampling to monitor product quality and prepare inspection documentation.
- Work effectively with colleagues, management, and key members to meet production targets, customer demand, and project requirements, assisting with any additional duties as instructed.
- Perform inspection, packaging, and manufacturing tasks to agreed standards, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to budget controls.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of structured problem solving techniques such as Six Signa and LEAN
- Reasonable IT skills and experience working with Word/Excel
- Willingness to follow safe systems of work
