Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end Finance testing across major transformation and integration programmes, acting as the central point of accountability.
  • Partner closely with Finance Business Analysts, Change Leads and Subject Matter Experts to ensure clear traceability from requirements through to testing outcomes.
  • Define and drive a strategic Finance testing roadmap, continuously improving how testing is planned, executed and reported.
  • Own testing governance by managing test plans, RAID logs, escalations and defect resolution, ensuring issues are visible and addressed early.
  • Provide clear, confident test progress and readiness reporting to senior stakeholders, supporting Go/No‑Go decisions with confidence.
  • Coordinate testing activity across multiple releases and business functions, working with IT test teams and Customer Journey Testing.
  • Safeguard Finance by supporting auditability and compliance testing, including data privacy, billing accuracy and regulatory standards.
  • Gain broad exposure across Vodafone Finance (EBU and CBU), contributing directly to some of the most significant programmes in the organisation.

Who you are

  • You'll bring experience leading testing or UAT at enterprise scale, ideally within Finance or complex enterprise systems.
  • You'll have a strong understanding of finance operations, accounting workflows and billing assurance.
  • You'll be confident in test planning, risk‑based testing, traceability and coverage reporting.
  • You'll know how to drive defect management and communicate clearly across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • You'll be comfortable engaging with senior leaders, explaining risks, progress and decisions in a clear, pragmatic way.
  • You'll thrive in a fast‑moving environment, able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • You'll have experience coordinating testing across multiple releases or distributed programmes.
  • You'll bring a proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset, always looking for smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • You may hold an ISTQB or equivalent certification (great if you do, but not essential).
