About the Role

You will be primarily based at the probation office and work with a caseload of individuals to provide advice and support for their housing needs. You will carry out initial assessments, develop action plans, and help clients secure or maintain tenancy, find new accommodation, or receive basic budgeting advice. While we do not provide accommodation ourselves, we collaborate with organisations that do, and fostering these relationships is key to success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with key partners: Work alongside probation, local authorities, housing strategy teams, and landlords to secure housing solutions.
  • Caseload management: Manage multiple individuals, balancing their needs while maintaining administrative accuracy.
  • Working to KPIs: Meet performance targets and deadlines, applying strong time‑management and prioritisation to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Quality recording: Keep thorough records of all work on our IT system, ensuring progress is properly tracked.

Qualifications and Checks

Applicants must hold an enhanced DBS check and HMPPS EL1 vetting. Due to the time required for these checks, the successful candidate will receive a start date at least six weeks from the job offer.
