In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality content and events that engage our people and partners around JCDecaux's Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home proposition. This involves developing simple, influential content for our website, press releases, articles, and social media; planning and preparing content for impactful events; and pursuing media opportunities to highlight the brand, products, and services of JCDecaux UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create insightful and interesting materials including press releases, a newsletter, and related marketing materials or presentations on JCDecaux UK's programmatic offering to align with JCDecaux's overall Communications plan.
  • Compose and implement a successful multi‑channel communication strategy to improve brand recognition, promote the crucial programmatic messages to boost customer recognition, evaluation, and lead generation within digital marketing audiences.
  • Plan and lead the design, content, and production of simple, impactful marketing materials in the right tone and language for the audience.
  • Support the Director of Marketing to define key marketing messages for external communications based on the key marketing programmes.
  • Show proficiency in the core marketing strategies, the parties concerned, and the intended audience.
  • Develop a yearly communications plan outlining timelines, measurable results and effects, and target audiences.
  • Define the communications channels behind each of the key marketing programmes.
  • Use different communication platforms like events, PR, press releases, social media, email, interactions with the sales team, search engines, advertising, and influencers to improve awareness and adoption of key marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor input and results and report monthly on impact.
  • Define a list of influencers and draw up a communications plan to gain third‑party endorsement of key marketing programmes.
  • Lead and update the CRM database of communication contacts and key influencers.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Insights and Communications teams to build thought leadership content for essential marketing initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver one of the key marketing events of the year, the Programmatic Awards event.
  • Liaise with third‑party contributors to provide white papers, thought leadership pieces and marketing content. Proof and ratify the content.
  • Work with the Commercial team to provide ongoing case studies and content to keep the website and customer/marketing hubs up to date.
  • Be the ambassador for Programmatic marketing within the Marketing & Commercial teams, helping to upskill teams where needed to ensure everyone is confident in including Programmatic content in the IR activity.

A Little Bit About You

  • Great understanding and experience of the digital marketplace and the communication tools available.
  • Experience in running omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in marketing planning, marketing strategy, copywriting, storytelling with data.
  • Experience setting objectives and governance such as reporting and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and funnel management.
  • Some knowledge or experience in organizing events would be helpful.
  • Organized individual that can strategically plan a communications calendar that can drive commercial success.
  • A strong collaborator who can acquire agreement from multiple teams to implement the communications plan.
  • A project enabler with an attention to detail to manage multiple projects that deliver a coordinated impact.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great teammate who collaborates effectively with individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds and skills.
