This role will evolve as the digital out of home market advances. You will be expected to adopt a change mind-set that leads, encourages and supports business growth and evolution. You will manage relations with multiple agencies and specialist partners, optimise business processes, and embrace development opportunities for your career progression at JCDecaux.

As an Account Manager you are responsible for administering inbound requests and briefs, checking for inventory availability, meeting deadlines, supporting the trading process, and building and maintaining professional and profitable relationships with specific OOH buying partners. You will identify new business opportunities with new and existing advertisers, introduce creative opportunities, establish and manage sales deals, and generate maximum revenue for the Company. You are an ambassador for JCDecaux and should demonstrate behaviour that expresses our values.

    • Contribute to and implement strategies to achieve pre-determined revenue and KPI targets
    • Administer and respond to inbound requests and briefs in a timely and optimal manner
    • Own relationships with specific OOH buying agency accounts to influence activity towards the OOH market and JCDecaux, and ensure proactive pitching is effective
    • Deliver proactive solution-driven sales by extracting briefs from key clients
    • Support the diversification of the customer base across multiple buying points, agencies and other organisations
  • Team Contributor
    • Build strong relationships with colleagues to ensure smooth campaign delivery
    • Use CRM daily to manage appointments and communications
    • Work to ensure JCDecaux is perceived as a brand leader
    • Use standard consumer behaviour research tools (Route, Touchpoint, DMP) to inform Specialist strategy
    • Adhere to and advocate the established business and commercial policies and governance in place to achieve our business strategy
  • Sales Generation
    • Focus efforts on the development and performance of the buying points’ business; may spend a minority of time with other organisations (e.g. Buying Point Agency) to support agency performance
    • Be aware of strengths and weaknesses of other media channels
    • Understand Media Agency client business, marketing strategies, and media objectives
    • Gain a sound understanding of the JCDecaux portfolio to influence planning decisions
    • Act as the two-way conduit for marketplace insight between agencies and specialist buying teams

  • Qualifications And Experience
    • Proven sales generation, negotiation and account management skills, preferably within the digital and OOH media marketplace
    • Previous experience in a campaign delivery or deadline-driven environment
    • Demonstrable capability/experience: developing colleagues’ and customers’ understanding of processes and outcomes; managing delivery of campaigns from objective translation to booking and implementation; success with sales or account management processes
