As a Media Executive at Global, you work as part of the high‑performing National Sales team, planning and booking airtime and DAX advertising campaigns across the Global audio portfolio. This role serves as a foundation for future growth in a Media Sales career and is essential to the success of the business.

Your new role

In this position you will administer clients’ investment into Global’s brands and audiences using industry‑leading systems, maintain a strong focus on sustainable growth, and balance client needs with Global’s objectives. You will report to the Group Planning Manager, support the wider agency team with business plans and strategies, and achieve both sales and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build expertise in Global's business systems and processes to ensure excellent delivery.
  • Plan all campaigns accurately against requirements.
  • Optimise customer requests through gPlan and collaborate with Inventory Operations and Pricing to deliver client requirements efficiently.
  • Carry out administrative and reporting tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle a large volume of daily administrative and data‑led tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent internal and external service.
  • Sell the benefits of alternative scenarios, crafting the best solutions for the customer and for Global.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of media pricing, including costs and deal mechanics.
  • Understand how we monetise our data and inventory portfolio.
  • Work closely with Group Agency Managers to identify growth opportunities and create proposals and pitches for customers.
  • Demonstrate expertise in gPlan and associated systems.
  • Continuously improve agreed critical metrics.
  • Challenge every agency brief productively using facts, figures, and insight.
  • Show excellent patch management, especially in trading administration, and contribute to process improvements within the team.
  • Possess an excellent knowledge of Global brands and audiences and understand agencies’ and clients’ motivations.
