Beazley is a global specialist insurance company with over 30 years' experience. This role is part of the Beazley Shared Services â Data Management division and reports to the Head of Data Products.
Role Overview
The Product Owner will design and deliver data products that support regulatory reporting across Lloyd's, the PCA, the CBI and other agencies. You'll work closely with Compliance leaders, stakeholders and a crossâfunctional team to create a roadmap of automated reports and enhancements, operationalizing data for greater efficiency and insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the data product strategy for regulatory submissions (e.g., Eligible Complainants, Conduct Risk, ELTO, PMDR, RRQ).
- Own a portfolio of data products and deliver a roadmap for iterative, automated reports.
- Advise business on best data practices and challenge existing systems and processes.
- Manage stakeholder engagement through requirements gathering, updates, user testing, signâoff and rollâout.
- Lead and inspire a team of business analysts and a factory squad to deliver data reports.
- Design and build visualisation tools to enhance business reporting and intelligence.
- Prepare, collate and submit data for regulatory reporting while analysing data to derive conclusions.
- Implement improved reporting methods such as outsourcing, automation and selfâserve tools.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners and Capability Leads to maximise data reuse and alignment.
- Support Data Value Management in implementing Data Governance and Quality best practices.
- Provide leadership and support to direct and offshore reports.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Experience building regulatory reports for the insurance industry (London Market, Lloyd's, CBI, PCA preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised and structured thinking with a focus on regulatory deadlines.
- Influential stakeholder management across all levels.
- Structured techniques for evaluating processes and documenting user requirements.
- Strong data analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Team leadership and selfâstarter motivation.
- Skilled with MS Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python; knowledge of Data Quality tools is advantageous.
Education & Certifications
- Degree level education in any discipline or proven experience within this role.
- Product Owner certifications preferred.
