This is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for 12 months. Our Program Managers are always thinking about the bigger picture. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, you'll continuously be scoping out new solutions. You'll conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long-term vision of the business. A day in the life

As a Program Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks. Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

About The Team

At AMZL Europe, we deliver millions of packages daily to customers at record speed and quality. The work that Launch and Expansion do is at the heart of that. Our relentless ambition is to make AMZL Europe more and more cost-effective and customer centric. We're doing that by improving our existing network, inventing new and creative ways of making last-mile delivery more efficient, and optimizing the development of our Under the Roof and On Road Infrastructure. Within the team we have a variety of roles. Typical examples include program managers responsible for selecting and launching new sites, planners working out how we solve challenges such as low emission zones and EV charging, strategy teams looking at how we get the most out of our existing buildings, and analysts using data to deliver insights into how we work and how we should be working.

  • Help plan the future of the biggest last mile delivery network in Europe.
  • Select, build and launch huge buildings and infrastructure with multi-million dollar budgets.
  • Make decisions that shape Amazon's fulfillment strategy across the globe.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience leading process improvements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
