We are looking for a Java Full Stack Lead who will play a key role in leading one of the newly formed Scrum teams. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing features on the iPortal Corporate Digital Self‑Serve platform, ensuring high‑quality delivery and scalable solutions.

Hybrid Working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

  • Lead and guide a cross‑functional Scrum team of developers, testers, UX designers and business analysts
  • Collaborate with Delivery Lead, Scrum Master and Bank Group Member stakeholders to prioritise backlog items and ensure timely delivery
  • Drive technical design and architecture decisions for full‑stack development (Angular + Java)
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing and performance optimisation
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members
  • Work closely with UX designers to deliver intuitive and responsive user interfaces
  • Oversee integration, automation testing and performance testing activities
  • Ensure compliance with security, scalability and regulatory standards
  • Act as a technical liaison between the Supplier Group Member and Bank Group Member teams

Your Skills

  • 10 years in software development with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
  • Proven experience in Agile Scrum delivery environments
  • Full‑stack development using Angular and Java
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and performance testing tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Ability to mentor and inspire team members
  • Experience in banking or financial services domain
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
