The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 € per year.

This field based role covers North London on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. The Electric Vehicle Principal Delivery Engineer will supervise the in-field build of Virgin Media O2 electric vehicle charging points, ensuring quality, specification, and timely completion.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute a delivery plan that meets or exceeds SLA and VM/Believ budget expectations for sites.
  • Work closely with the EV Programme team to schedule resources for all site inspection demands.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Build and Partner Management to establish delivery processes and ensure sufficient resources for timely delivery of contractual commitments and VM budget targets.
  • Manage build partner scheduling to meet all site build deliveries.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to secure materials and contractors.
  • Manage DNO connections in alignment with ICP to keep installation within a 10 day build model.
  • Lead the site sign-off process for Local Authorities and Believ, indicating when a site is completed from a VM O2 perspective.

Must Haves

  • Experience of working with construction partners.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering projects and programmes in the Telecoms & Media sector.
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills.

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience delivering fibre backhaul or FTTP programmes desired.
  • Qualified Supervisor experience (NICEIC or NAPIT eligible).
  • ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician or Approved Electrician).
  • City and Guilds 2919.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671.
