About The Role
We're looking for a Compensation Manager (12‑month FTC) to support the design and delivery of competitive, equitable compensation programs across the business. This role partners closely with senior leaders and People teams to provide data‑driven guidance on pay decisions, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and internal frameworks. This role plays a key part in delivering the annual compensation cycle, advising on complex compensation topics, and helping to evolve our approach as the organization grows.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, bonus processes, and equity allocations.
- Lead end‑to‑end compensation‑related projects, taking full ownership and accountability to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to advise on compensation decisions, including offers, promotions, and retention cases.
- Deliver clear, high‑quality reward analytics and insights to senior stakeholders, with a focus on compensation, market data, and emerging trends.
- Conduct market benchmarking using industry‑standard sources and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Maintain and refine salary ranges, pay structures, and compensation guidelines.
- Analyze internal pay data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to equity and competitiveness.
- Provide clear, data‑backed insights to stakeholders to support decision‑making.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of compensation policies and processes.
- Support governance and ensure compensation practices are consistent and compliant.
About You
- Experience in compensation, ideally within the technology or software industry.
- Strong familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and datasets (e.g., Radford, Mercer, WTW or similar).
- Hands‑on experience supporting or leading an end‑to‑end annual compensation cycle.
- Proven experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders on compensation‑related topics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all areas of the business; ability to communicate complex compensation concepts in a clear and practical way.
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
