As an Audio Producer for Capital Breakfast, you will be an integral part of the production team on one of the UK's biggest and most high-profile radio shows – Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sin Welby. This role sits at the heart of the show's daily output, combining live studio production with creative audio making to help shape the sound of Capital Breakfast each day. You will play a key role in delivering a polished, high-energy live broadcast, while also producing standout audio content that supports the show across on‑air, branded and digital output.
Key Responsibilities- Audio Production (40%) – Lead the day‑to‑day live audio production of Capital Breakfast, helping shape the overall sound of the show and ensuring a smooth, polished and consistently high‑quality on‑air broadcast.
- Creative Content (25%) – Produce and deliver creative audio content for the show, including features, promos, competitions, branded content and fast‑turnaround production that enhances live moments, interviews and major show storylines.
- Post‑show Delivery (20%) – Manage post‑show audio delivery, including editing interviews, preparing content for wider use across broadcast and digital platforms, and maintaining high technical standards across studio output, recordings and external audio sources.
- Collaboration & Development (15%) – Work closely with presenters, producers and the wider Capital team to bring ideas to life creatively and efficiently, while continuously developing and evolving the sound of Capital Breakfast in collaboration with the wider sound design and production teams.
- Think Big – Help create the sound of Capital Breakfast, working on one of the UK's biggest and most high-profile radio shows with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sin Welby.
- Own It – Play a central role in the live execution of the show each morning, while also leading audio production across key features, promos, branded content and interviews.
- Keep it Simple – Bring strong technical ability, creative instinct and clear communication to a fast-moving live environment, helping the team deliver great radio every day.
- Better Together – Work closely with presenters, producers, video, commercial and Capital sound teams to create compelling audio content for Capital across broadcast and digital platforms.
