Description of the Department: The Application Analyst's role is to ensure optimal system availability for internal client's applications and manage deliverables to improve the quality of services.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Application Support: Provide daily support on Simcorp Dimension, undertake daily operational checks, investigate and resolve any problems identified, provide functional and technical support, user account creation, ensure appropriate change management processes are implemented, produce user and functional procedure guides, communicate with users on system availability, coordinate the work of different IT teams, ensure compliance with information security policies, develop and deploy processes for Level 1 security controls, implement regular end user activity monitoring, process improvement, follow-up and management of tools & services enhancements, incident and change order management, perform monthly application reconciliations, production of business KPIs, analyse and coordinate data from different sources, correct and amend historical data in FactSet, integrate transactions in SimCorp, configure and reset end users accounts in Global 1.
- Administration Support: Manage timesheets and support rota for the team, identify, lead, design and implement enhancements on client's applications, gather business enhancement requirements, support understanding of client's needs, manage projects related to Small Scales Enhancements, analyse existing processes, write functional specifications, contribute to testing phase for new versions/tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Studying Computing, IT, Business, Finance on a 4-year University degree with 3rd year work placement included.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, analytical ability, creative thinking, fluency in English, good IT knowledge (FIX, SQL, Cloud Azure, databases), ability to understand/code in Python – desirable.
- Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with non-technical users, willingness to learn, attention to detail, customer focused.
