What does Logistics Associate mean at Prinova?
The Logistics Associate will join a dynamic and fast-paced Logistics and Supply Chain team of six. This team is responsible for managing business operations, including imports, exports, and direct shipments.

What to expect?
Imports- Arranging Sea and Air shipments from Suppliers to required destinations in Europe.
- Prepare and check Shipping instructions.
- Check and distribute shipping documents.
- Send customs clearance instructions and storage instructions to the customs agent and warehouse.
- Input appropriate shipping information onto Citrix; maintenance of inventory etc.
- Track shipments when needed.
- Liaise with the forwarders and warehouses to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Arrange shipment to customers from our warehouse.
- Arrange shipment from supplier directly to customers.
- Prepare shipping instructions.
- Track shipments and update shipment details.
- Issue documents for customers, including invoice, packing list, COO, Health Certificate.
- Check and distribute original/copies shipping documents.
- Liaise with customers.
- Liaise with the forwarders, warehouses and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and procedures.
- Classification and commodity code check.
- Handle Non-Conformances.
- Occasional on-site inspection of warehouses.
- Process charges invoices from warehouses, forwarders and other suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions via the e-filing system.
- Any other items that might arise on an ad hoc basis.
Does this sound like you?
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Incoterms.
- Experience in International Trade/Logistics (Shipping, X-Trades, Exports, Imports).
- Experience on the Customer side (preferably).
- Masters Import procedures.
- Dealing with Shipping Lines and Forwarding agents in different modes of transportation (Road, Sea and Air).
- Knowledgeable of the Customs Clearances procedures within the EU & UK.
- Used to fulfil Export requirements with regards to documentation (COA, COO, Health Certificate, Inspections).
- Solid knowledge of Exports to different countries (Middle East, Africa, South America).
- Experience with product Classification (preferably).
- Dangerous Goods knowledge advantageous.
- Knowledge in a European language is always a plus.
