Join Capgemini Invent’s Data & AI Strategy team to help clients build, scale, and embed AI capabilities across their organisations. This role blends strategy, innovation and delivery, requiring experience in AI development and the ability to connect technology to business outcomes.

Your Role

  • Design and lead scalable, secure, cost‑efficient data, analytics and AI platforms across cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Implement modern hybrid data architectures (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and drive migration of legacy systems to cloud‑native solutions.
  • Create Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products for advanced analytics and AI platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and measurable value.
  • Build and streamline data pipelines, infrastructure provisioning and deployments using DevOps practices, CI/CD and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Shape enterprise data strategy, develop architecture blueprints, roadmaps and communication plans to engage stakeholders and drive adoption.
  • Champion user‑centric design and storytelling to create compelling data platform solutions, applying industry frameworks (TOGAF, DAMA) and best practices.
  • Experiment with new AI and automation technologies to accelerate delivery and drive innovation for clients.

Business Development & Internal Contribution

  • Lead/contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting at events.
  • Develop campaign content, whitepapers, practice and offering development, internal think‑tanks, and team events.
  • Support learning & development initiatives, including training and certifications.

Your Profile

  • Growth mindset and curiosity, always learning and experimenting.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of data and AI technologies, experience with AI concepts and tools.
  • 10+ years of data, analytics & AI architecture consulting experience.
  • 6+ years designing, implementing and managing cloud‑based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data solutions (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse).
  • Intermediate‑level cloud certifications (minimum 3) and expertise in cloud‑native AI data architectures.
  • Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, ARM Templates, GDM), DevOps, networking, security and identity management for AI use cases.
  • Solid understanding of modern data patterns (Data Mesh, Data Fabric) and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud‑native data stores.
  • Consulting background with project scoping, budgeting and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Eligibility for SC clearance.

Desirable Experience

  • Domain knowledge in UK Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Consumer Products, Retail, Distribution, Telecoms or Transport.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost‑management tools and optimisation best practices.
  • Track record of applying Agile methodologies and leading cross‑functional teams to deliver data and AI solutions.
