The Peninsula London is seeking to hire an Electrical & HVAC Shift Engineer who will take pride in ensuring the good maintenance and repair of all Electrical equipment and HVAC Systems throughout the Hotel and Residences, complying with all building regulations and mandatory inspections.

Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure Engineering maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Service and repair various types of electrical equipment such as laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, motors, and report any out of order equipment that will affect hotel operation.
- Attend to preventive maintenance on electrical panels/equipment, and electrical circuits including lighting and dimmer equipment in all areas of Hotel.
- Carry out inspection and testing Refrigeration & Catering equipment to ensure they are operating in compliance to their relevant industry guidelines and regulation.
- Cooperate and coordinate with all engineers and external contractors whenever necessary and interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
General Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a similar environment.
- Trade certified or NVQ level Electrical Engineering.
- Good understanding of building service and relevant rules & regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills, organised and detail oriented.
- Fluent English communication proficiency.
- This position requires the fulfilment of night shift duties based on the operational needs of the business. The ability and willingness to work during these hours is a necessary condition of employment.
