As the Senior Partnerships Manager joining our Affiliate and Performance Partnerships team, you will thrive on building meaningful partnerships and thinking big picture for our program. You will lean into data-led decision-making, be adaptable to our enterprise partners' needs, and have strong commercial awareness. This role requires a strong negotiator with experience managing complex partner relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Sales / Negotiations: You are a sales and negotiation expert. You love working with partners and know how to find value in those relationships that works for everyone.
- Big picture thinker: You are a creative and big-picture thinker - nothing is impossible.
- Forward thinker: You are an early adopter and like to be ahead of the competition - you look for partners that share those values.
- Partnership Management: Own and manage a portfolio of current partnerships by quickly building personal relationships with our global enterprise-sized partnerships and assessing opportunities to grow revenue.
- Reporting / Insights: Provide consistent reporting and insights to external partners as well as internal stakeholders.
- Data-driven decisions: Leverage internal data, partner insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape to make data-driven recommendations for perpetual improvements.
- Tech knowledge: Continually researching and understanding the global travel tech environment to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Industry knowledge: Conduct competitive intelligence scans/benchmarking and develop strategies to adapt to changing environment within the travel vertical.
- Partner growth: Lead and assist in negotiating media placements, collaborations, and exclusives with key partners.
- Commercial: Identify and initiate new ideas, incentives and bonus structures to achieve and exceed performance goals.
About You
- Sales / Partner management experience: Strong sales, negotiation and partnership management skills - knowing the travel tech space is a plus.
- Technical partner integration experience: Deep technical skills and the ability to talk product: knowledge on APIs, feeds, widgets, etc.
- Team player / Autonomous: Ambitious, results-driven individual who enjoys working as a team but can also thrive independently.
- Analytical: Able to analyse data and determine partner or market success focused around ROI.
- Commercial understanding: Commercial outlook, negotiation and experience of managing 3rd parties.
- Business Development: Demonstrated success conducting outreach and recruiting for new performance-based marketing partners and relationships.
- Relationship builder: You love people. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hundreds (if not thousands) of partners.
- Business acumen: Strong business and marketing acumen with an ability to identify business opportunities, deliver results, and adjust plans as appropriate.
- Tooling / Technologies: Experience with management and tracking technologies used to measure performance (ie. Tableau, GA, Impact Radius, Partnerize, CommissionJunction).
