Location: HCA UK at The Shard, Central London

Full time: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday-Friday

Shifts: Between days per week, or 4 compressed days or job share would be considered

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Hand Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient physiotherapy team. Working within a team of 11 therapists, you will deliver expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with complex hand and upper limb conditions.

The Advanced Hand Therapist will be a key member of a large and supportive outpatient physiotherapy team, delivering expert care to patients with complex hand and upper limb conditions. The postholder will independently manage a specialised caseload, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role involves mentoring and supervising junior staff, contributing to in-service education, and leading service development and promotional activities. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in shaping and expanding the hand therapy service, using their specialist knowledge to support business growth and ensure excellence in patient care.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Relevant postgraduate training or completing specialist master’s level modules/qualification (BAHT accreditation or equivalent)
  • Demonstratable specialist clinical experience as a Hand Therapist
  • Prior experience with Thermal plastic splints and wound management
  • Experience in assessing clinical competency
