Join the quantitative credit Strats team supporting Deutsche Bank’s European Flow Credit and Emerging Markets business. The role focuses on delivering risk, profit and loss (PNL), pre‑trade flow and relative value analytics to bond trading and sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building production‑quality software applications, reporting tight timescales and incorporating NLP, ML and AI techniques to leverage large data sets.
  • Develop and support daily risk and PNL systems.
  • Provide desk support, respond to live challenges and gather requirements efficiently.
  • Implement flow analysis MIS and reporting (volumes, market shares, hit rates, client profitability).
  • Develop pre‑trade analytics to support trading decisions (relative value metrics, strategy back‑testing).
  • Provide quantitative modelling expertise (portfolio optimisation, flow matching, trade prospect ranking).

Your Skills And Experience:

  • 2+ years in a front‑office technical/quant role within investment banking.
  • Proficiency in programming (C++, Python, kdb, Java, JavaScript) and SDLC tools (Git, Bitbucket, JIRA).
  • Experience in data onboarding, cleaning, curating and analysis.
  • First degree in Maths, Natural Science, Computer Science or Engineering; PhD or Masters desirable.
  • Bonus experience in machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration and effective communication.
