Deliver enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting assets that provide clear, actionable insights aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and interactive analytics.
- Build robust data models (star schemas, semantic layers, DAX measures) to ensure high performance and reusability.
- Translate business questions into metric definitions, KPIs and validated datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data availability, quality and performance.
- Conduct data validation, reconcile dashboards against source systems, and document assumptions.
- Optimise report performance (aggregations, query folding, incremental refresh).
- Support self-serve BI enablement through documentation, training and data-literacy support.
- Ensure BI assets follow visual design best practices and accessibility standards.
A Little Bit About You — Required Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years in BI/Analytics with strong Power BI experience.
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling and designing semantic layers.
- Strong SQL; good understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
- Comfortable engaging with business teams to clarify requirements and deliver insights.
- Experience in high-volume or multi-system data environments.
- Advantage: Azure DataBricks, Fabric and Purview familiarity.
