We are looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen at a prestigious Cambridge Consultants site, operated by Eurest. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional white-collar environment, offering a great work-life balance with no weekend shifts.
About The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing a busy, high-volume kitchen serving up to 400 covers per day, alongside delivering a high-quality hospitality service for on-site events and meetings. This is a free issue operation, requiring strong organisational skills and a focus on consistency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food standards
- Oversee high-volume food production and ensure smooth daily service
- Deliver high-quality hospitality catering for client events
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service excellence
- Manage stock, food safety, and compliance standards
- Drive innovation and menu development within a contract catering environment
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume environment
- Previous contract catering experience is essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to deliver both bulk catering and high-end hospitality
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Passion for food quality, presentation, and service
