The Business Consultant plays a critical role in client transformation and the delivery of planned change and benefits. The consultant will work throughout the full lifecycle of projects and programmes, engaging complex stakeholder landscapes and ensuring that customer and user needs are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability, exercising responsibility and autonomy for discrete tasks and escalating when issues fall outside their remit.
- Influence customers, suppliers and partners at the project level, making decisions that affect project outcomes and contributing to cross‑functional teams.
- Investigate, define and resolve complex issues; apply creative problem‑solving approaches.
- Lead or support the exploration of problems and planning of change areas with senior team members.
- Support client engagement on specific elements of projects or programmes.
- Participate in workshops and interviews with key stakeholders, producing core information and assisting in workstream activities.
- Assist in the development of change, training and communication plans.
- Coordinate multiple change activities and track progress against delivery milestones.
- Coaches other staff to develop core techniques and apply knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
