We're looking for a Senior Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre team at The Princess Grace Hospital in London. With seven theatres across two floors, two dedicated recovery suites and a robotic surgery theatre, this is a fast‑paced, highly specialised environment where patient safety, clinical excellence and teamwork sit at the heart of everything we do. Working alongside world‑class consultants, you'll be part of a hospital known for delivering complex surgery using advanced technology in a calm, well‑supported setting.

What You'll Do:

  • Take clinical and professional responsibility for recovery services within theatres, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
  • Lead, support and develop colleagues within the recovery team, providing guidance and day‑to‑day supervision.
  • Coordinate recovery activity to support efficient theatre lists and complex surgical pathways.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit standards and compliance with clinical governance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver consistently high standards of care.

What You'll Bring:

  • Current NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Significant years of experience working in recovery within operating theatres.
  • Ideally, experience caring for level 2 patients as well as exposure to complex spinal and robotic cases.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate others.
  • Clear communication skills and a calm, organised approach in a fast‑paced environment.
