We're looking for a Senior Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre team at The Princess Grace Hospital in London. With seven theatres across two floors, two dedicated recovery suites and a robotic surgery theatre, this is a fast‑paced, highly specialised environment where patient safety, clinical excellence and teamwork sit at the heart of everything we do. Working alongside world‑class consultants, you'll be part of a hospital known for delivering complex surgery using advanced technology in a calm, well‑supported setting.
What You'll Do:
- Take clinical and professional responsibility for recovery services within theatres, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
- Lead, support and develop colleagues within the recovery team, providing guidance and day‑to‑day supervision.
- Coordinate recovery activity to support efficient theatre lists and complex surgical pathways.
- Maintain accurate documentation, audit standards and compliance with clinical governance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver consistently high standards of care.
What You'll Bring:
- Current NMC or HCPC registration.
- Significant years of experience working in recovery within operating theatres.
- Ideally, experience caring for level 2 patients as well as exposure to complex spinal and robotic cases.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate others.
- Clear communication skills and a calm, organised approach in a fast‑paced environment.
