We are seeking Registrar-level doctors with a background in intensive care medicine, to work on the Adult ITU Ward at The Princess Grace Hospital. You will work alongside leading consultants and an exceptional multidisciplinary team to care for patients, adults both short stay and long stay complex needs with a shift pattern of 1 x 24-hour shift per week.

While we are a Consultant Led Service, we believe in empowering our Resident Doctors, so your role could expand as much as you wish. You will have the chance to be involved in audits, projects and quality improvement initiatives alongside the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks. This could be to help steer the services you deliver, speaking up or patient satisfaction focus groups, clinical governance or MDT meetings. Giving you an opportunity to network with your peers, share best practice and expand your knowledge in an unrivalled setting.

What You Will Do

  • Work in a team of specialists to provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking admissions, daily ward rounds, and routine clinical reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with internationally recognised consultants, specialist therapists, and nurses in all aspects of medical care for adult patients on the Critical Care Ward.
  • Complete a range of medical procedures, including complex airways as directed.
  • Lead crash teams if appropriate/required.

What You'll Bring

  • GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
  • Completion of Foundation training and at least IMT-2/Core Medical Training (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3-4 specialist experience in Critical Care Wards.
  • A passion for teamwork and delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Current ALS.
  • Able to manage complex airways.
